Six Seneca Valley players (George Lerch, John Dutton, Ryan Phillips, Phillip Tyrus, Cody Walko, and Harry Traylor)and Coaches Kim & Smith volunteered for the annual Stuff-A-Truck to benefit the Capital Area Food Bank at the Montrose Giant in Rockville on Friday morning. The players had an early start as they showed up at 5 am to help load food onto the truck in order to feed unfortunate families in the Capital Area. It was an extremely rewarding opportunity for the players as they were able to give some of their time in order to help those in need. The event was broadcasted on Fox5 news and the players and coaches were involved in several segments throughout the morning.
The players and coaches had a great time and were extremely happy that they were able to be involved in such a great event.
