It has been speculated for some time now but it was finally made official at the end of the season banquet this past Sunday. Longtime SV coach Terry Changuris, the heart and soul of the SV program, has stepped down from coaching football. Stating that his body was having a difficult time making it through practices due to arthritis, Coach Changuris felt it was time to end one of the states most successful coaching runs ever. Coach Changuris time at Seneca Valley covered 4 decades, the 70's, 80's, 90's & 00's. During each of those decades Coach Changuris was part of or lead a SV team to a state title. Coach Changuris will not only be remembered for what he won, but also for what he created and established. The Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagle's would not be what they are now without his countless hours of work and dedication. Thank you Coach Chang!
In honor of Coach Changuris, the Coach Kim announced that the team MVP award will now be known as the "Terry Changuris MVP".
