A few weeks ago things didn't look bright for Senior Linebacker Dominique Chase. A low core GPA was preventing him from going on to the college of his choice after gaining a lot of attention from colleges to continue his playing career. But Dominique and the coaching staff didn't give up. They were going to find a team for the 2007 season's Team Defensive MVP to continue his playing career while also earning a college degree. They found that place in a small Junior College in North Carolina just north of Raliegh. Louisburg College loved Dominique's abilities and offered him a chance to continue playing and hopefully move onto a four year school after his time there was up.
Over the last two season's Dominique has been a defensive leader for the Screamin' Eagle's. His old school, no nonsense style of play at the linebacker position has earned him praise throughout the area. We wish Dominique the very best as he strives to be the very best he can be.
